Ouma Isie's Tea Garden and Restaurant
A magical tea garden on the historical farm of General Jan Smuts and his wife Ouma Isie. Our delicious food is served fresh from the kitchen. We are dog friendly so bring your best friend for a walk. We have lots of space for kids to run and play.
Ouma Isie's Tea Garden was built in 1976 in order to raise funds to maintain the Smuts House Museum. The Tea Garden was named after the remarkable wife of General Jan Smuts - Isie Krige Smuts, or Ouma, as she was known throughout the country.
